My Educational and Work Background

Although I have a very technical/scientific career, my roots are holistic. I started my esthetic education at Aveda Institute, where I studied Ayurvedic skincare and facial massage techniques. My foundation began with understanding how simple/natural ingredients can help your skin's health and radiance, alongside how imbalances in stress and diet can affect it. After graduating, I worked as a waxing specialist, where I perfected speed waxing, ingrown hair prevention/treatment, and eyebrow shaping. I then advanced my education and became laser certified, and started working at a large med spa, where I eventually became the Laser Department Manager and Laser Safety Officer. I spent years examining skin, creating treatment plans, educating both clients and my employees on skincare and treatments, training estheticians, performing treatments, and correcting mistakes made by other med spas (advanced scarring/pigmentation)
