Hi Bestie!! I'm Cassi. I am a practicing medical esthetician, meaning I am certified and perform medical-grade treatments like laser, radiofrequency, micro needling, IPL, and more! I have 7 years of first hand experience improving my clients' skin health and appearance. Through my experience of changing people skin I noticed one thing was a constant struggle. Taking care of your skin at home. I'm here to change the stigma that skincare is difficult or a minefield of misinformation and sales pitches. After constant requests for more time to discuss skincare and treatments, I created My Personal Esthi Besti.
To understand how I can help you its important to know my background. Although I have a very technical/scientific career, my roots are holistic. I started my esthetic education at Aveda Institute, where I studied Ayurvedic skincare and facial massage techniques. My foundation began with understanding how simple/natural ingredients can help your skin's health and radiance, alongside how imbalances in stress and diet can affect it. After graduating, I worked as a waxing specialist, where I perfected speed waxing, ingrown hair prevention/treatment, and eyebrow shaping. I then advanced my education and became laser certified, and started working at a large med spa, where I eventually became the Laser Department Manager and Laser Safety Officer. I spent years examining skin, creating treatment plans, educating both clients and my employees on skincare and treatments, training estheticians, performing treatments, and correcting mistakes made by other med spas (advanced scarring/pigmentation)
I've had my own struggles with skin, including adult acne, compromised skincare, hormonal breakouts, pigmentation, congestion, stretch marks, and scarring. I understand the feeling of needing a change but not knowing where to begin. I would panic buy products, do more when I should have done less, skip sunscreen, over-exfoliate, and try Pinterest masks. You name the skin sin, and I probably did it. I'm here to tell you don't have to do all that, and if you are.... You don't have to anymore!
